DAY 1

When you arrive in Keystone, check into one of our fine motel/hotels, cabins, B&Bs, campgrounds or RV parks. Visit one or more of Keystone's numerous attractions. Enjoy unique shopping and a variety of dining choices from gourmet to family restaurants and sandwiches. Complete your evening with the lighting ceremony at Mount Rushmore.

DAY 2

This morning, take Hwy 244 to Mount Rushmore. Continue on Hwy 244 behind Mount Rushmore to Hwy 16/385 south to Crazy Horse Memorial. Return north on Hwy 16/385 to Hwy 87 (Needles Hwy) in Custer State Park. Take Hwy 87/16A to the Wildlife Loop and continue through the Park to Hwy 16A (Iron Mountain Road) which returns you to Keystone for dinner, shopping and other activities.

DAY 3

Tour a gold mine, pan for gold, play miniature golf, go horseback riding, and visit museums. Ride a historic train or an Alpine slide. See Mount Rushmore from a helicopter. Explore nearby caves and rock shops. Take a historic walking tour. Pose for an old-time photo. Sample some homemade candies and dine in one of our many restaurants. Complete your experience by exploring our area's unique mining and carving history.

DAY 4 AND BEYOND

Take advantage of Keystone's central location to easily access a wide variety of outdoor activities which include biking, rock climbing, hunting, fishing, and hiking trails such as Harney Peak, the Centennial Trail and the Mickelson Trail.

Keystone is the perfect location for viewing beautiful Black Hills scenery and several National Parks and Monuments that you and your family can enjoy together.
