KEYSTONE VACATION ITINERARY Day One: When you arrive in Keystone take in
some of our numerous
attractions. Visit Mount Rushmore, Tour a Gold Mine, visit museums,
Ride a
historic train, an Alpine Slide, or explore nearby caves. Complete
your
evening with our many dining options and be sure to see the nightly
lighting
ceremony at Mount Rushmore. Then relax in one of our fine hotels,
motels,
cabins, B&B's, Campgrounds, or RV Parks.
Day Two: This morning, take Hwy 244 to Mount
Rushmore and continue on Hwy 244 behind
Mount Rushmore to Hwy 16/385 south to Crazy Horse Memorial.
Return North on Hwy 16/385 to Hwy 87 (Needles Highway) in Custer
State Park.
Take Hwy 87/16A to the Wildlife Loop and continue through the
Park to Hwy
16A (Iron Mountain Road) which returns you to Keystone for dinner,
shopping
and other attractions on your list. Please be aware that there
is a fee for
entering Custer State Park. Currents fees can be found here

Day Three: Go horseback riding, play miniature
golf, take a historic walking
tour of Keystone, visit rock shops, have an old- time photo
taken. Sample
some homemade candies, enjoy some of the best shopping anywhere
and a wide
variety of dining options. Complete your experience by exploring
our area's
unique mining and carving history.
Day Four and beyond: If there is anything
you haven't seen or done, this is
the day to do it. Take advantage of Keystone's central location
to easily
access a wide variety of attractions and outdoor activities.

National Parks
and monuments that you and your family can enjoy together.
