To experience the outdoors at night is a treat for many visitors. Life continues to exist even after the sun goes down. This event allows participants to hike a paved path along a “creepy” route, consisting costumed characters. The characters humor their audiences with short skits about the natural history various critters living in the Black Hills.
Hikes take place every 15 minutes from 5:30-8 p. m. MT both days (Oct. 28 and 29). Reservations are required for all participants and can be made by contacting the Peter Norbeck Outdoor Education Center at (605) 255–4515 starting September 27.
